Followed Andree Tabouret Keller's seminar 'Anthropologie du Langage' in the 'Ecole des Hautes Etudes', in Paris. Attended a large number of seminars, conferences, workshops throughout the world. After 15 years in Paris, studying and working there she was invited in Greece to teach Psychology at the University. She came in contact with different approaches like Psychoanalysis, Process Work, Psychosynthesis, Breath work, yoga... She has written two books, one in french : "Enfances, Cultures, Langages", ED. Presses Universitaires de Lille, 1994, and the other in Greek «Ode to Diversity» (tran. "Ode to Alterity" (a paraitre).

Being trained both as a psychologist and as an educator she has been working as a teacher, teaching psychology classes at the university, as well as a therapist. Working with children in Paris or with children and adults in Athens, or online with people from all over the world for the last 21 years, has enriched her life. Different settings, heterogenous languages, diverse countries, various therapeutic approaches, many teachers have contributed to the creation of her own approach. A combination of psychoanalysis, Process Work, Psychosynthesis, Breath work, Yoga, etc. Her approach is an integration of her inner guidance, the professional training in psychology and intercultural unions and her personal experience and research in alternative approaches to well-being and various spiritual traditions.  In recent years, she has become interested in discovering how escalating global changes, new scientific findings,  consciousness studies, ancient wisdom and spiritual traditions fit together. She's an enthusiastic spiritual, raw vegan professional dedicating herself to ongoing research in these areas, to her inner work, and to exploring better ways to make the synthesis and integrate these things in her work. The last ten years she's practicing different styles of yoga, especially astanga. Dr Karastergiou is one of the rare therapists in Greece who combines her holistic approach with spirituality.
